“MC Free” Music Ministries

Marina Pogue also known as MC Free a Music Minister born and raised in Scottsbluff Nebraska. She is 44 years old and now resides in Mesa, Arizona. Marina’s passion for music began at an early age she loves to sing not only at home in her room, but also at her local church and school choir. At the age of 17 she entered a competition that was held within the Church Of God district; and with this competition she was able to travel to other different churches and citites. Marina won first place in the women’s division and made it to the Teen Talent International finals which was held in San Antonio, TX. This was the starting point of her ministry. The ministry that God has blessed her with was not only to sing to the Lord, but also to be an evangelist to young people. Through it all, the Lord revealed to her that it is not just in her own town that she will be used, but in cities such as San Antonio, Texas and other places to come.

I wish i could say that her ministry began sooner; however i can only say that it comes out powerful and with a profound message of love. At the age of 19 Marina strayed away from the Lord. She went through personal issues, where her physical and spiritual life was at a vulnerable state that was stricken by all sorts of demons. After numberous trials and tribulations she felt defeated. She was so tired of the way she had become and the things that she allowed herself to go through. She was shaken stepped on and broken. Marina felt as if she was all alone, abandoned and entrapped in a nightmare where the world seemed dark and empty, at this point in her life she recollected the words of her parents directing her to the Lord, “that only God will be there in your time of need”. God opened her eyes and spoke “I have been waiting right here were you left me! I never left you; you left me. Take my hand and see what i have in store for you.” If Marina had not let go of her secular and strayful life who knows where she would be today, I do know she did take his hand; followed him, and he is showing great things that he has for her. Above all, the good Lord, our father in Heaven has even inspired her to create a song from the heart. A song that impresses-God lives, a song titled…”The Valley”
